The Charles McClendon Scholarship Foundation was created to provide scholarship assistance to the children of former LSU football lettermen. Football players that were on the team prior to 1987 QUALIFY for their children to receive a scholarship! In the early days of funding this foundation, we had to limit the scholarship program to "scholarship" players. But thanks to the dedication and hard work of many former players who sacrificially dedicated much time, invested much of their own money and provided wise guidance (and still do), we can now expand the program to include ALL former LSU football lettermen.
